The Medford Go Green Initiative is a great way for you to save energy, money, and help Medford all at the same time. There is NO COST for you to get a home energy audit conducted by professionals. The Medford Go Green Initiative is a partnership between our city and National Grid to increase the number of residents taking advantage of home energy services offered through the MassSave Program. These services include:
- “no-cost” energy assessments
- air sealing
- insulation
- heating system installations
- hot water heater installations
- appliance rebates
If enough Medford residents sign up for these services, the city will receive additional grant money to be used for environmental and energy projects in Medford.
To sign up for a no-cost energy audit, call 855-838-7817 to make an appointment. Please mention “Go Green Medford” when you call for your appointment. (This is the only way National Grid will be able to know that you heard about this special program!)
If you want more details about this program, you can contact the Energy and Environment Office at 781-393-2137 or email Carey Duques, Director.
Thank you for helping Medford to Go Green!
